Day 65: KCRW in the AM for Morning Becomes Eclectic taping. I mostly hung out by the crafts table and the wall of polaroids with all the amazing people that visited the station. Later in the day, went to the Clive Davis Theatre at the Grammy Museum downtown for soundcheck. Curiously rolled over to the LA Live where Nike was hosting a Slam Dunk contest, and casually walking past…Keri Hilson. I was too busy checking out her sneakers that I didn’t even realize it was her. FYI, the winning dunk was when the Justin ‘Just Fly’ Darlington did a cartwheel, picked up the ball midway, through the legs, and dunked it (watch the video HERE). Hurried back to the Grammy Museum in time to see the legendary Brenda Russell and Goapele do an amazing acoustic set!
